Major Requirements

Curriculum as of September 2004

  1. INT200 International Studies, Processes, Themes and Issues.
  2. Foreign Language (2 units) (200-300 level courses that continue the language used to satisfy General Education requirements).
  3. International Experience (courses taken during study abroad will count toward the concentration and options.)
  4. One concentration chosen from: Diplomacy, International Economics and Trade, European Studies, Latin-American and Caribbean Studies, Middle-Eastern Studies, East Asian Studies. Note that the courses listed with the concentrations is not exhaustive. The Departments of History and Political Science offer courses that vary in content such as "Topics in." or "Tutorial in.". As appropriate, students may select these courses for their history and political science requirements. Also, courses from various departments on campus may be chosen, by advisement, to serve as options in the concentrations.
